Dr. Will Gray
FOUNDER & PRINCIPAL CONSULTANT
After growing up an unbeliever in Fundamentalism and becoming a believer in his late teens, Will experienced spiritual recovery in the Presbyterian Church.
By the time he began focusing on church consulting, he had already consulted with nearly 200 organizations that weren’t churches—through two strategic agencies and through ALIGN (which he founded in 2014). That background, added to his heart for healthy churches, brings churches a wealth of consulting experience applied uniquely to the church setting.

Mark Lupton
GUIDE
Mark is convinced that healthy organizations bear fruit. His experience as an analyst, executive advisor, and even outsourced CFO has helped many organizations stabilize and grow in healthy ways. He has become well-trusted by his clients for a range of guidance, from coaching to advising to consulting, and even counseling or spiritual direction at times!
He discovered ALIGN by way of its sister company Vocationality, but quickly found that he was already rowing in the same direction as ALIGN as a seasoned consultant in his own company. He’s been working with ALIGN since 2022.
His family is also currently helping to plant a church on Maui and he serves as its parish treasurer.
MBA, Acton School of Business (named the Acton Scholar of his graduating class)
Alan Bunn
For decades — across both pastoral work and business consulting — Alan has been a trusted mentor and coach to everyone he encounters. During the first two decades of his career, he helped major companies promote themselves effectively, and during the two decades that followed, he has served as Pastor of Adult Ministries for North Hills Community Church.
Now, he’s curious about using the last third of his life to help both companies and churches get stronger and healthier, using the ALIGN approach.

Dr. Matt Hunter
Matt is one part artist and another part teacher-strategist. He’s driven by a calling to help people connect — with themselves, with others, with God, and with their environment, in meaningful ways that help them feel known, and that awaken them to the strength and capability they’ve already been given. That artistry part is the real deal, as Matt frequently creates works of original art, often in unusual media.
For nearly a decade, he served as the Site Director of OneLife Institute, a gap year program. He holds a Ph.D. in Religious Studies from Temple University and his experience includes teaching Humanities courses to high school students. Matt also works as a Guide in ALIGN’s sister company Vocationality.
